Power to Reunite
This was a thematic change for every aspect of the organization, from social media logos to header images, featured videos, postings, and topics for the entire month.
The main focus of the Power to Reunite campaign was to draw awareness to the cause of families wrongfully accused of child abuse in the case of their medically complex children. The secondary goal was to raise funds to distribute to the client families to help offset their legal costs through merchandise sales and direct donations.
The end result of the campaign was $500+ of merchandise sold and $2,000 of direct donations.
The campaign logo and variants featuring the You Are The Power logo were also utilized for a merchandise shop to help raise funds. Items included water bottles, mugs, bumper stickers, yard signs, shirts for adults and children, and hooded sweatshirts.
The logo for the campaign had many representative elements. The pinwheels, often used to represent children in foster care, were borrowed from the group Parents Behind the Pinwheels. The zebra stripes represent children with unique medical challenges. Blue, purple and white are the theme colors of rare disease advocacy. Finally the white flowers to represent the innocence of the children involved.
